Our staff members have spent years devoted to developing expertise in their fields. They have also spent many years devoted to the Chesterfield Athletic Club and its members.
Laurel Noel-Hecht – Athletic Club Director
Laurel has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years. A former high school and college basketball player, physical activity and focus on over-all wellbeing has always been an essential element of her life. Laurel is an avid cyclist, runner, Yoga, fitness and Zumba instructor, and she enjoys participating in fundraising fitness events in her free time. After owning a fitness center in Indiana, she moved to St. Louis where she has been with The Club since 1997. She has 3 grown daughters as well as 3 grandchildren who all share her passion for sports and fitness.
Paul Tobin – Tennis Director
Paul has been the tennis director at the club since it opened in 1974. Paul played collegiate tennis at West Texas State. He is also a member of the National Junior College Hall of Fame
Julie Laux – Sales & Marketing Manager
Julie has been a member since 1997 and as of January 2007 responsible for sales and marketing at Chesterfield Athletic Club. Along with 25 years of experience, Julie brings her knowledge and love of fitness with her. Julie and her family reside in Chesterfield where they are active in the Rockwood School District and the Chesterfield community. In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends especially visiting her kids at Mizzou. GO TIGERS!
Kimberly Daws – Athletic Club Manager
Kimberly began as the CAC’s Kids Camp Director in 2010 and had been promoted to Athletic Club Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations. Kimberly grew up with her family running a Racquet Club in Oklahoma City and has felt right at home here from the start. Kimberly and her husband have 3 children and are active in the St. Claire parish and Chesterfield community. She enjoys playing tennis and keeping active with family and friends.
Donna Thum – Membership Coordinator
Member since 1999, Donna joined the CAC to play tennis and take fitness classes and she became more entrenched with the STL tennis community in 2004 when she started working at Racketman Tennis Store. In 2007, Donna became a CAC team member as a front desk attendant, then in May 2015, promoted to her current full-time position as Membership Coordinator where she still stays connected with many of her tennis friends from her Racketman days. Donna enjoys being an active part of the Chesterfield community and Ascension parish since moving here in 1990.
Welcome Fitness Supervisor, Dillon Drennen
We are excited to welcome Dillon Drennen, the new Fitness Supervisor at the CAC. Born and raised in the St. Louis area, after graduating from Francis Howell High School, Dillon served as an Army Cavalry Scout, Reconnaissance Specialist. In addition to providing vital information to his team, Dillon also helped fellow soldiers with PT rehab. A wrestler in both high school and the Army, Dillon has always had a passion for fitness. He enjoys helping people through positive support to achieve their fitness goals.
A firm believer in the importance of meditation and a healthy diet, Dillon also studied homeopathic remedies to promote natural healing. In his free time, Dillon loves spending time with his girlfriend, Abigail, and their 6 year old son, Hayden, as they go rock-climbing, canoeing and traveling.
